    Hello!

If you’re an adult looking for a clinician who can help you navigate the effects a traumatic experience has had on you, we should chat about how we could work together. I’ve dedicated my career to helping people heal from the wounds they carry after going through a healing experience of my own in which I learned that there are too many nuances about one person to fit them into one type of modality. I’ve been in the mental health field since 2013 and am grateful to use that decade of experience to guide my ability to meet people where they’re at.

I use EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), parts work, narrative therapy, and somatic healing in my approach. If you aren’t familiar with the acronyms, that’s okay- all they mean together is that I use evidence-based, thinking- and body-rooted methods that use your life story as the guide for healing. I’d love to answer questions if you have them!

In my free time, I love to exercise, create art, cook, read, and take my dog out to walk in the woods.

If you’re a person over 10 years old (adolescents & adults included) who enjoys a laid-back approach to talk through what’s going on in life, I could be the one for you. I’ve been in the mental health field since starting my Master’s degree in 2019 and have had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings.

When I work with a younger client, I try to hear things from their perspective- things are that serious at that point in time, and it’s important they feel heard to be able to move forward. I will work with the parents (with the client’s assent) to try to find ways to bridge miscommunications that may be leading to increased stress.

I am leaning into the development of a Geek certification that allows me to use gaming and geek culture references in a therapeutic way when working with both younger clients and adults. I find it’s important to connect with what gives us passion, and doing so creates space for people to open up even more. I also use DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), EFT (emotions-focused therapy), ADHD-focused interventions, and family systems therapy to guide my approach.

In my free time, I play videogames, learn new board games, exercise, and play with my dog, Vader.
